Throw nets

Throw nets are a simple means of catching and does not require a large cost in the making. Material made of nylon or multifilamen from monofilamen, diameternya range 3 - 5 m. The foot of the net given ballast made of tin.


Throwing nets operated using manpower, use a throw certain techniques (Figure 4.23). The tool is operated in the waters of many such as rivers, reservoirs and lakes and coastal waters depths ranging from 0.5 to 10 m. A common species of fish captured is the type of fish that migrate to coastal areas such as shrimp and others.
